Weekly Games Night

The Games

• You may not have heard of any of the games we play, but most folks like them once they try them.
• The games tend to fall in what's called "German-"style or designer games (because it was developed in Germany, and game designers have a big role in the games). These match the better known American boardgames in terms of presentation, simplicity and length, but we find them more fun and think they have wider appeal because of specific improvements:
  • The games tend to focus on attaining your own goals, not attacking other players (especially true in the theme of the game)
  • The games tend to keep all players in the running, even up to the end of the game
  • The games tend to reward good play instead of good luck (most of the games we have don't include dice!)
• We have a good range of games, from silly brain-candy to intense brain-burners. We'll bring a good number of games to choose from and pick based on the mood of the people present.
